DUBAI: International Cricket Council (ICC) has revealed the fixtures for the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup, arch-rivals Pakistan and India to lock horns on October 23 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
The T20 World Cup will be played in Australia from October 16 to November 13.
Pakistan will play their opening match against the arch-rivals India as the two teams are placed in Group B alongside South Africa and Bangladesh with two qualifying teams to join.
Whereas, Group A includes the defending champions Australia, alongside New Zealand, England, and Afghanistan, while the two more teams will join the group after the conclusion of the qualifying stage.
Taking to Twitter, ICC shared the fixtures for the upcoming ICC T20 WC.

Eight teams will play in the first round, four of which will advance to the Super 12.
The T20 World Cup 2022 semi-finals will be held on November 9 and 10 at the SCG and Adelaide Oval, respectively. The Adelaide Oval will host a World Cup semi-final for the first time.
The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 final will be played at the MCG on November 13, 2022.
